How we engage

A monastic engages in social life as a renunciant. This is a life orientation which entails various practices of disengagement. So engaging with a monk means… engaging disengagement? In any case, it may look a little different from secular-only social intercourse.

For instance, it may involve arranging transportation for the monk, or offering food or shelter. It will not involve any payment to the monk. Just ask; every engagement is different.
